Braveheart makes an ideal choice for families or couples with an interest in scuba diving or learning to scuba dive while on charter. Jerry & Dawn, the veteran owners of Braveheart, also serve as Captain/Dive Instructor and Chef. When compared to other yachts of her size and given Braveheart's generous dive package, she is an exceptional value. Braveheart bases in the BVI, but occasionally offers charters in the Grenadines during the spring or summer months.

Braveheart Amenities and Water sports: Braveheart features full air conditioning and accommodations for up to 9 guests in 4 Queen cabins, each with en-suite bath, plus an additional single berth which shares a bath with another guest cabin. Her water sports include a 14' dinghy with 60 hp engine, adult water skis, 2 windsurfers, snorkel gear, tube, 2 kayaks, floating mats, beach games, fishing gear plus underwater camera.
Braveheart Scuba Diving package: Jerry, the owner and Captain of Braveheart is a NAUI Dive Instructor. He includes up to 10 dives per week for certified guests. With on-board compressor plus 20 tanks, Braveheart is certainly equipped to handle dive groups. Guests can either bring their own BC and regulator or rent equipment from Braveheart at a cost of $100 per diver for the week. A resort course is available for non-certified guests at a cost of $100 for the first dive, then $50 for each subsequent resort dive. Certification courses include a Referral Course at a cost of $250 per student or a Full Open Water Certification Course for $350 per student, which includes gear.

Carefree Yacht Charters was aboard Braveheart at the 2010 crewed charter yacht show in the BVI and had the opportunity to spend some time with owners and crew, Jerry & Dawn. While we have known Jerry on a personal level since the 1990's, having the opportunity to sit down with owners and crew on a yearly basis at the charter yacht shows is extremely beneficial. When asked about the highlights of their charters, Jerry and Dawn were quick to mention that the food is always a definite highlight on their charters and also commented that their guests really enjoy their night-time underwater lights for night-time ambiance and fish viewing. They also mentioned that plan out each day and their overall itinerary to incorporate each guest's preferences and requests, not just those of the divers aboard.

All I can say is great job. The trip has met or exceeded our expectations. Jerry even figured out how to set me up to snorkel. No easy task given my rotator cuff injury. The group is very much interested in a trip next year. Also why didn't you tell me that average weight gain is 7 pounds? Everyone wants to take Dawn home.
