Yacht Charter Destinations
The Virgin Islands
The Virgin Islands are known as the sailing capital of the Caribbean,
largely due to the constant trade winds and the close proximity of the
islands to one another. This is the ideal destination for first-time charterers
with its protected waters and wide variety of excellent anchorages to choose
from.
The Leewards
The most popular grouping of islands in the Leewards includes St. Martin,
St. Barts and Anguilla. Offering its guests a combination of azure waters,
sunny climate, Caribbean charm, and splendid beaches, these islands have
become a popular destination for yachtsmen. While the islands offer passages
in sight of land, their conditions are definitely more challenging than
those of their neighbors to the northwest, the Virgin Islands.
Greece
Greece has hundreds of islands to choose from, each with its own distinct
character and charm, developed through time according to its specific climate,
history and landscape. From cosmopolitan islands, to hiker’s retreats,
from cliff top villages to important archeological sites, the islands of
Greece offer an amazing array of activities and character. The charter
yacht season in Greece runs from May through September.
