From the owners/crew of Dreaming On, located in the British Virgin Islands – the Sailing Capital of the World...Welcome aboard Dreaming On! We're a state of the art Robertson & Caine Leopard 47'. We know these waters well and we'll take you to the most incredible beaches you can imagine. As they say "getting there is half the fun". We truly enjoy both sailing and people so this really is a fun job. Well, it's actually not really a job at all! Our sailing itineraries are designed around you, but we'll certainly show you some of our favorite spots. The BVI offers such an incredible variety of beautiful places to explore. Dreaming On Amenities and Water Sports: Dreaming On features a Captain & Chef, full air conditioning, plus 3 Queen cabins, each with en-suite bath. Her water sports include 13' dinghy with 30 hp engine, adult water skis, kids windsurfer (specifically designed to also be used as a stand-up paddle board), knee-board, snorkel gear, tube, wake-board, 2 1-man kayaks, floating mats, beach games, fishing gear, floating island lounge (the "big red donut"), underwater camera, plus bean bag chairs for the bow. Scuba diving is offered via a local rendezvous company at an additional cost.
Dreaming On Crew Comments
Carefree Yacht Charters was aboard Dreaming On once again at the 2011 charter yacht show in the BVI. It's always apparent that they're ready to charter – the yacht looks great and is well appointed inside and out. The owners and crew, Geoff & Iza, are welcoming and friendly and Dreaming On is equipped with plenty of activities and water sports for their guests. Geoff & Iza reminded us that they're fun and adaptable people and that they listen to their guests and tailor each charter around the specific group that they have aboard.
During the November, 2011 charter yacht show, we also asked Captain Geoff about his opinion and use of the Scrub Island Resort while on charter in the BVI. His helpful opinions and input were incorporated into an article written by Lynne Campbell, Owner and Principle Yacht Charter Broker of Carefree Yacht Charters, about Scrub Island for the Charter Yacht Brokers Association.

Three couples that we booked aboard Dreaming On (in tandem with another similar catamaran with 3 couples aboard) in February/March, 2012 had the following comments:
"For anyone interested in experiencing the BVI the way it should be done, I highly recommend doing it by boat; more specifically by chartering a catamaran! We recently returned from our adventure aboard Dreaming On and I am already going through withdrawals. Geoff and Iza served as captain and crew on their immaculate 47' cat and they were the perfect hosts! We elected to do a tandem charter, as we had 11 people in our group (each boat can host up to three couples). Our eight day journey began in St. John, USVI, since many of our party were participating in the annual event called 8 Tuff Miles on Saturday the 25th of February. For any of you runners out there, this is an 8.3 mile race over a 999 foot mountain that is both challenging and exhilarating!
We elected the half board option, which means half of our meals, and all of our drinks were included in the charter price. Both the food and the drinks were awesome. As good as you will get in a restaurant on the islands! We hit many of the hotspots that would have been impossible to accomplish in 8 days if not for the fact that we were on a boat. From The Caves and Willy T at Norman Island to The Baths on Gorda. From the sail (at an average speed of 8.5 knotts) from Bitter End to Anegada (for the best lobster dinner under the stars you can possibly imagine) to Jost Van Dyke to enjoy the most beautiful beach in the world (White Bay). We felt like we did it all!
The boat itself provided everything you could possibly need. The deck space and stability that a catamaran provides is far superior to that of a monohull. We never felt crowded and even though on some evenings the surf was choppy, the luxury of having the stability of multiple hulls kept everyone from feeling seasick. We all slept like babies :) Each Cabin had a queen size berth and its own private bathroom with electric toilets. I will say that the one criticism is that the bathrooms are a little on the small side, but on balance, that was a small price to pay. Some in our party were a little apprehensive about the accommodations before we arrived, as they were used to 5-star hotels, but to a man/woman, they were surprised at how comfortable they actually were. This was due in no small part to both Geoff and Iza. No request was too big and every detail was meticulously attended to. I would highly recommend taking the plunge whether you are traveling as couples or as a family. They have plenty of sea toys as well: Sea Kayaks, paddle boards and wind surfers to name a few.
I can't wait to bring my kids back to experience this trip with us next time. When we do return, you can bet that we will return to Geoff and Iza aboard Dreaming On!

We were guests aboard Dreaming On with Geoff and Iza from April 15-22, 2011 and had the best time! This was our best family vacation ever. Our twin boys (age 14) and my husband and I felt at home the entire week and were so pampered that I was completely relaxed and had no cares at all. Geoff and Iza are the best hosts and were extremely flexible with us, offering a number of options/plans for the week. They catered the itinerary and meals to our preferences. The meals were truly gourmet. My husband continues to comment how every day we felt as if we were in a 4-star restaurant being served our meals in paradise. The boat itself was also very spacious and allowed us plenty of room to spread out and relax. This was our first sailing trip and we were a bit nervous but we all found the accommodations to be extremely comfortable. The boys had a blast going new places every day and they especially loved knee-boarding and tubing. Geoff was so patient with them and took them out a number of times over the course of the week. This trip allowed us to be very close as a family and experience a different adventure every day. I could not imagine a better vacation with better hosts.
Thanks Geoff and Iza for allowing us to spend a week aboard Dreaming On. It truly was our best vacation ever.
