Paradise Amenities and Water sports: Paradise features full air conditioning and accommodations for up to 4 guests in 1 aft Master Queen cabin with en-suite bath, plus 1 additional Queen cabin with attached bath which is shared by the crew through a separate entrance. Guests can also choose to take the Twin cabin, normally taken by the crew. The Twin cabin has upper and lower bunk beds, making her ideal for families with kids. Other amenities include sun-chairs and laundry service. Her water sports include a 12' dinghy with 25 hp engine, knee-board, snorkel gear, 2 1-man kayaks, floating mats, beach games, water chairs, plus 2 stand up paddle-boards.. Scuba diving is via a local rendezvous dive company.

Carefree Yacht Charters was aboard Paradise at the 2011 crewed charter yacht show in the BVI. As always, we found the yacht to be immaculately maintained and Bernie & Ruthie a pleasure to be around. When asked about the highlights of their charters, Bernie & Ruthie mentioned a combination of the boat, the crew, and relaxing energy found aboard. They said they want their guests to "let go of their stress, have fun, and feel free to do what they want on-board!"

Lynne, this was a second charter that you arranged for me with Paradise. The boat along with Bernie and Ruth are simply put, way above others in their profession. Their pride, knowledge of sailing is beyond comparison. They are the ultimate in their profession. They are wonderful host and a joy to be with. It was my sons first sailing trip and I was a little apprehensive. They all told me it was the best trip of their lives. It will not be my last trip with Bernie and Ruth. Their enthusiasm, skill and true kindness and concern for your safety and comfort is so reassuring that I could never settle for any other charter experience. The sailing trip on Paradise will stay in my memory bank for withdrawals throughout the remainder of my life. It was everything I expected and more. Ruthie and Bernie couldn't have been more accommodating, experienced and fun to travel with. It was a joy to watch them work together so well. Ruthie kept us all well fed with meals that were healthy, beautiful and extremely tasty.
While traveling home we were comparing notes on our favorites some of which were the carrot soup, chocolate mousse & mahi-mahi. Bernie proved to be an excellent captain along with Ruthie fulfilling her additional roll of ship's Admiral. Of course, there's always something that needs fixing and Bernie showed off his "Mr. fix-it" skills with efficiency and speed. We couldn't have had more perfect weather, low 80s, sparkling slightly cool water, lots of fish to amaze us, beautiful coral, and interesting local residents to interact with along the way. All-in-all I would rate this trip as one of my all time favorites, and I would definitely recommend the Paradise, along with Bernie and Ruthie to anyone interested in a fun, relaxing, and unique vacation.

The name Paradise is perfect for the name of this sailboat, its crew and its location. Bernie and Ruthie are the perfect hosts. From the time you board to the time you leave they are your friends for life. They know instinctually when you want to have a conversation or be left alone in your thoughts. Bernie and Ruth are not just great captains but are so bright and have had so many successful businesses. They are worldly, sophisticated, and charming. I have chartered for many years, eaten in the best restaurants and slept in the best hotels. This is the Ritz on water! Bernie and Ruthie anticipate every need or desire. They know all the best areas for snorkeling and anchoring. They are so experienced that you never have to be concerned about anything. All you do is rest, snorkel, lie in the swim chair and read. The boat itself is like no other. I never hit my head or had to squat to get to my cabin. A queen size bed and shower stall. On deck I had so many places for shade or sun that it was hard to make up my mind so I went from one to the other. If you have been on Benito’s or catamarans this experience is totally different. Imagine flush toilets that you do not have to pump by hand. The food served to you on deck is prepared and presented with all the flare of an expensive restaurant. This is three meals a day, snacks and beverages. Be specific on your request sheet. I am a fan of Grey Goose and Amstel light and it was on board for me to enjoy. Every aspect of décor, sheets, towels, art, and place setting are the best and well thought out. It was the best week I have ever had and I can’t wait to go again. My 16 year old nephew had the experience that I waited too long for. My advice - don’t wait- do it! In summary, I am afraid I have to give a 4 star rating and hope that I can book a charter again hoping that they will be able to fit me in with all my boasting.
