fLYING TO THE BVI DIRECT FROM MIAMI FOR A CHARTER WITH BVI PORTS

Check American Airlines for availability on direct flights from Miami
(airport code MIA) direct to Beef Island/Tortola, BVI (airport code EIS). If available,
these flights will take away the need for any inter island transfers and associated
costs. These are smaller commercial jets so seating is limited (approximately 75 seats)
and these flights should therefore be booked as soon as possible.

fLYING TO st. thomas FOR A CHARTER WITH BVI PORTS

ST. THOMAS FLIGHT CONSIDERATIONS WITH BVI PORTS:

  • We recommend flying directly from the continental US to the USVI and back and not
    routing through Puerto Rico.
  • The St. Thomas airport code is STT.
  • With a noon charter start, we’d recommend flying to St. Thomas the day prior to your
    charter and spending one night ashore in order to provide ample time to get to the
    BVI for a noon start.

    popular options book up early.
  • If arriving the day your charter starts, please double check with us to ensure your
    St. Thomas flight arrival times will align with your ability to get to the BVI.

ST THOMAS TO BVI INTER-ISLAND TRANSFER OPTIONS:

For a charter with BVI ports please plan on one of the following inter-island transfer
options to get you to the BVI and back. We’ve listed the transfer options below in order

  • St. Thomas Flight Departure Times: With a water taxi back to St. Thomas, please plan
    for an approximate 4.5 hour window from your water taxi pick-up time to your St.
    Thomas flight departure time.

    their own private St. Thomas and BVI land taxi options. We would recommend taking
    advantage of this added service for a more seamless experience.

  • Ferries to the BVI: We would recommend no fewer than 2 hours between your St. Thomas
    flight arrival time and your ferry departure time, but additional buffer time is
    suggested due to any flight delays, adjustments to ferry schedules, the St. Thomas
    ferry terminal you’re leaving from, etc.
  • Ferries from the BVI: We would recommend no fewer than 5 hours between your ferry
    departure time and your St. Thomas flight departure time. In general, it is
    suggested to be at the St. Thomas airport no less than 2.5 hours prior to your
    flight departure time.

FLYING TO THE BVI (VIA PUERTO RICO) FOR A CHARTER WITH BVI PORTS

BVI FLIGHT CONSIDERATIONS WITH BVI PORTS:

  • We recommend flying directly from the continental US to Puerto Rico.
  • The Puerto Rico airport code is SJU.
  • Your end destination is Beef Island, BVI and the airport code is EIS.
  • Beef Island, BVI and Tortola, BVI are separated by a small bridge.

COMMERCIAL PUDDLE JUMPER FLIGHT OPTIONS BETWEEN PUERTO RICO & THE BVI

reservations. You may inquire with them as to the appropriate layover times required in
both directions, but in general we would recommend a minimum of 2 hours. We’ve listed
them in order of preference based on their general reliability over time:
