The crew. Mike & Lizzy were great. Mike has a very direct manner but is easy to get along with. It actually made it much easier on us to have someone to tell us what he thought made sense and when/where to do it. Turned out that all of his suggestions were excellent. Part of it was that M&L knew everyone around the BVI and were able to help us greatly. Even when we left a bag at Hog Heaven on VG, Mike was able to make one phone call and get it brought back down to Leverick Bay for us. We felt well attended to and safe. On board, the competency and friendliness were super high. LIzzy (and MIke at times) cooked us wonderful meals. They helped us play our music to add to the experience. They shared great information and stories about travels in the BVI. They joined us for fun outings. Mike stayed up after the last of us to make sure we were safe and the boat was quiet and safe for the night. In short, we hope they stay in the BVI on this or another boat. We will recommend them to others and hope to remain in touch with them.

One additional note, M&L knew exactly the right times and places on where to be given the weather, the winds, and the cruise ship crowds. The timing was great. The experience showed through. We were never in concern about where we were going or how safe we would be.

On the meals, they were accommodating of food concerns and it worked out well. They food was served very timely, very fresh/warm, and super tasty. The pre-dinner appetizers were excellent. We dined with them at each dinner and were able to get to know more about them and their stories.

We think you did a good job of matching us to this crew and our goals for the trip. It was a good fit. Our group thinks the crew was more important in the end that the boat was, though both were great.

Accomodation Details

The bright airy interior of Sandy Cinco is bathed in natural light from her large windows and port lights.

Sandy Cinco sleeps eight guests in 4 beautiful ensuite cabins: the king-size primary suite and three queen VIP suites.
All the cabins have low island beds with mattresses on sprung bases, memory, foam toppers and high-quality bedding to provide the utmost comfort.
Each cabin has temperature controlled air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom, including electric head, vanity unit, separate shower and complimentary toiletries.

The spacious saloon features a large adjustable height coffee table and a seating area that’s perfect for a movie night or watching Lizzy prepare her delicious meals.
The cockpit comfortably houses the adjustable alfresco dining table and a coffee table alongside two sunbeds and plentiful seating overlooking the sea.
The fully covered flybridge is almost entirely for guest relaxation with comfortable shaded benches close to the drinks fridge and the bar and offers wonderful views when sailing or at anchor.
At the bow there are two more sunbeds, beanbags, dolphin seats and brand-new trampolines for soaking up the sun.
