Crewed Yacht Charter Costs
Refer to the charter costs table (below) for an indication of typical weekly "all inclusive" rates for the Caribbean crewed yachts we represent. Please note that these costs are representative of BVI charter rates as well as rates throughout the Caribbean.
Is it possible to charter for less?
The charter costs table represents typical ranges, but there are occasionally available yachts which may charter for less. Ask us about any current yacht specials or review our current yacht specials. Captain-only charters, or half-board options may also lower the price ranges noted in the charter costs table.
What if we charter for less than one week?
A large majority of our yachts offer 6 night charters at a standard pro-rated rate. This popular price-cutting option brings key yachts into more affordable budget ranges. To determine 6 night charter rates, simply divide by 7 to determine a daily rate, and then multiply by 6. Charters of 5 nights or less typically have a 10% surcharge.
What's included in the rate ranges below?
The weekly rates noted in the charter costs table are considered "all inclusive", including 7 days/7 nights aboard a private yacht with professional Captain and Chef, 3 meals per day, requested beverages, standard bar, plus use of onboard sports equipment.
What's not included in the rate ranges below?
The main cost excluded from the weekly rates quoted in the charter costs table is a customary crew gratuity. The standard amount is 15% of the charter rate. The gratuity is based on services provided throughout the week, can be scaled up or down based on service, and is at the discretion of the client.
Will the yachts negotiate on price?
No. Our yachts set their own rates, have "published rates" within the industry, and have priced themselves competitively based on current market trends. However, several of our yachts do offer specials throughout the year. See our current yacht specials for further information.
