Our trip was amazing!
Our BVI catamaran trip was exceptional. The Copper Penny is a beautiful boat in perfect condition. The rooms are well appointed and laid out. There are plenty of shady areas to hang out, especially the top deck area. The crew, Dan and Alli, were outstanding. Dan got us to the best locations at the right time and had all the tips for a great offshore adventure. Alli is a talented chef and the food was delicious.
I would definitely recommend a BVI catamaran boat trip using Carefree Yacht Charters. Lynne was great with communication and preparing us for the trip.

Please use this email or I will be glad to talk to someone about this lifetime trip of mine. I have always wanted to do a Catamaran trip. When I found out about Copper Penny, that this family had been on this boat for the last 7 years, then I knew I wanted to go on this boat. The internet pictures do not show really how beautiful this boat is. You helped me so much at first answering my questions & being so pleasant to deal with for over a year. We booked this trip over a year in advance. I didn't realize how much work to get this trip to all come together. I'm so thankful my friend Niki was retired & loved making all the arrangements for the trip. Of course, with your help & Niki all went perfect.
I can't say enough about Dan & Allie Shivone. They are a lovely couple & both worked well together on this boat & for this boat. They treated this boat like they owned it. If they ever got mad at each other, you could never tell or feel it on the boat. Dan & Allie made this a perfect trip. They knew all the places we wanted to visit plus more. I love being on the beach with just me & my 5 friends & no one else except for the goats.
I can't say enough about the fabulous meals that Allie prepared daily. I loved not having to think about what I wanted to eat each meal. Allie made that decision the whole trip. I loved having that great bar with all of everyone's favorite drinks. All drinks were well supplied daily. I took 7 pairs of flip flops & only wore 1 pair when we got off the boat to hike the baths. Copper Penny was so clean & kept cleaned daily that you could eat off the floors. I loved not wearing shoes & not fixing my hair. Dan & Allie kept our rooms clean, bed made everyday by them & fresh towels in the room & for the beach. This boat & the crew was so organized & so pleasant to be around for 8 days. We ate off the boat 1 night on Anegada which was Dan & Allie's favorite fresh lobster place right on the beach. The food & servers were fabulous. So glad these 2 recommended, great drinks & great music with dancing. Sorry I can't remember the name. It was only open at night. We had lobster left over & Allie made lobster tacos the next day for lunch. So good!
Like I said, this was a trip of a lifetime for me. My husband could not go because he gets seasick really bad. It was not easy finding people that liked being on the ocean, like to drink adult beverages, to be in the sun, & don't smoke. But God sent 4 of my friends & 1 person that I didn't know all together to make this my trip of a lifetime. All us girls so enjoyed each other & the 4 that didn't know everyone fit right in. All 6 girls will never forget this trip of a lifetime. Because of me this was the trip of their lifetime too. I know we all will go again in the future. I'm saving now to go back to the BVI on Copper Penny again! I took this trip in daily. The days went by slowly for me to enjoy every minute of this trip. I loved when Dan sailed the boat to go to different islands. We did this 3 different times. Dan knew exactly where to park each time we went to a new spot. All the spots were perfect. There were other boats but it felt like we were the only boat around. They took us to the best snorkeling places everyday. So many activities to do if you wanted to do them.
I appreciate that I was surrounded by the best team that wanted to make this a lifetime trip for anyone. Thanks again Lynne. This all started with you & you telling us the best suggestions. Oh by the way, Dan & Allie LOVE working with you because you are so detailed with the clients that it takes so much work off them. What a FABULOUS trip! We really didn’t know what to expect other than Nancy and Sharon have been telling us about the Cooper Penny for almost a decade! Dreams do come true, despite all the COVID protocol hurdles! We did it with lots of good planning help from you and Sharon. The land and water taxi arrangements were excellent. The accommodations? Hello Lynne,
We think it took a full week to get back into our mainstream lives because of being so pampered and cared for by Dan and Alli. We would not want to be in such close quarters with anyone else. Their attention to detail and their awareness of the moment was extraordinary. They were unobtrusive, and yet always there to help if needed.
Alli is a creative chef who put plates of beauty in front of us three meals a day. They were like looking at art pieces. The food was of Michelin quality, with great variety and style. We enjoyed cocktails with appetizers as well each day.
Our daily activities while on the charter varied with Dan paying close attention to our desires as to what we wanted to do at each stop. Snorkeling, kayaking and swimming were all a part of each day. We were able to go ashore a couple of times to check out the Bitter End and the Soggy Dollar. Alli joined us for the walk throughThe Baths which was a wonderful experience.
The Copper Penny is a beautiful catamaran with lovely comfortable bedrooms which are spacious and well appointed. The common areas are great for resting, reading and helping the captain hoist the sails. This vessel is so well cared for that she looks as good as she did when we sailed with her in 2014. It was a true pleasure to return and find it in such good shape. A nod to the owner for his care in maintaining this beautiful vessel.

You were able to help put many details into place so that we had smooth connections from place to place. Because of this we had a fabulous cruise in a wonderful part of the world.
