We just came off a 9-day charter with Jim and Amanda Grant aboard the Copper Penny. It was our 4th charter with them and they don't miss a beat. Between the 5-star cuisine, great water sports activities, on-land excursions, the luxurious and flawless 56' Lagoon Catamaran Copper Penny, plus a bunch of new places visited, our love of the Virgin Islands continues to grow every year. It was also great to see that the Islands are back from the 2017 hurricanes. Thanks Jim and Amanda, see you in 2019!" - The P. family...Minnesota, Michigan and Colorado

We had an amazing time as always with Jim and Amanda! The food was superb and the service exemplary! Even though the weather was a little cooler and more windy/rainy than is typical, and despite a luggage mishap via Seaborne at the start, Jim made sure that we never missed a beat and hit every point on our checklist and kept us comfortable. They are the perfect team and Copper Penny proved to be even better than our beloved Catsy. In a five star rating, I give them ten as usual! We love these guys like family!

    Hi Lynne,

The charter was terrific. Jim and Amanda are great hosts and just great people. I really enjoyed chatting with Jim on a host of subjects. Jim's obviously a pro at captaining the yacht and did a great job of finding a good spot every evening away from the howling winds. He is great at keeping the energy going, both on board and on excursions on land. The Copper Penny is a beautiful sail boat and maintained in excellent shape. Amanda made some amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I can't think of a single thing I'd suggest for improvement. It really was an all around great experience, and our first time to be in BVIs. We would not hesitate to spend another week on the water with Jim and Amanda.

    All the best,

This was our second charter with Jim and Amanda and it was fabulous. Words cannot describe how perfect our trip was. The two make you feel at home and are there for your every need. Jim took us on some of best adventures that anyone could dream of and Amanda could not spoil us enough with her food and drinks. When my husband and I, kids and friends, look back on these trips, we cannot help but smile and reminisce about the great times we had. Jim and Amanda have made each trip special; we were even blessed to have Captain Jim officiate our 25th wedding vow renewals on Anguilla. They are not only a captain and first mate to us, they are good friends. I guess to sum it all up and as you know, we are booking another trip with these two...that should tell you how awesome it was and how awesome they are!
