Good Morning Lynne!
The Seahome experience was awesome!!!! Capt. Tyler Dunn and his crew (James and Alex) are exceptional. My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The last trip we had was with another yacht a few years ago, that was great, but this experience was over the top for sure! This experience far outshined my expectations! We felt special all week. The boat was bigger than last time and a real game changer for us. It accommodated all of us extremely well. Of course we had five couples this time vs three so the extra room was better. The top deck of the Seahome is a game changer with sun coverage and wind coming through. The outside dining table fit us all. The boat was really a perfect size for our crew. Weather was a bit cooler and wind was up more than usual, but the crew and the Captain were exceptional. Having three pro’s handle our USVI and BVI experience was just great. We loved hearing their previous stories and experience on the water. How they handled the entry with the Covid protocols to and from USVI and BVI was great. They got us in and out without issue. They and we had to go through extra steps, as you know, but we made it a fun thing and just got it done.
Tyler definitely enhanced the experience with his knowledge and expertise. He is a seasoned vet as a Captain and always considered our safety and his crew. We never felt like he didn’t have a handle on anything that was thrown his way. His tour of the Bath’s and the facts about the history was a new experience for me. We ventured to Anagada this time and saw some of the coolest places on earth. He really never left our side. He was very knowledgeable about Anegada and took us through most of the island as our tour guide. The lobster on the beach dinner was good and quite an experience I didn’t mind, but as we told Tyler when you have such an exceptional chef such as James it’s tough to get off the boat for food! Our trip happened to land on Super Bowl weekend…and we were able to watch the Super Bowl live on the Seahome as they presented dinner and lots of beverages! It was quite an experience that none of us will forget! I think it may have been a first for them as well. Who needs a beach bar! (Although we found plenty of those). The Soggy Dollar day was great as usual but don’t let Tyler tell you about our entry back on to the dingy from the beach (not good-quite hilarious actually). He never seemed to get tired of talking with us and always accommodated any type of activity we wanted to do. I would highly recommend this Captain and I would certainly come back to him and the Seahome anytime.
As a few kind words for our Chef James and Alex our stew:
Our Chef James has extraordinary skills. He is so much better than we could have ever imagined or deserved. His experience is from larger boats. James can cook and his presentation and attention to detail was really awesome. I’ve made eggs my entire life. But he somehow enhanced them to a whole new level. I think I can speak for all of us (the Soggy Hillbilly’s). We never expected or had experienced such great food. Sushi, beetroot risotto, lamb meatballs, extraordinary salads, fresh baked breads, home made everything…and the deserts, wow. Too much! He’s got quite a personality as well, he plays along with the customers and offers to share insights into his cooking even when he probably didn’t want to. We could be a handful at times for sure, (or at least some of us) and he handled us very well. I hope to get the opportunity to eat some of his food in the future but he has quite a talent. I’ve never been so full and in fact we missed some food because we just couldn’t eat anymore, that’s a compliment we wanted and did eat everything! Highly recommend!
Alex, our Stew. What an exceptional young lady. Talk about multi-talented. She prepped food, served drinks, made a different type of fruity cocktail daily, catered to our “got to have snacks”, cleaned, pulled the hook, tied the ropes, etc…..she did it all! She even plays the guitar and sings which we got the opportunity to listen and participate with her. In fact we had many dance parties! The table settings were different each day and she always had some sort of fun surprise for the ladies. She introduced us to some very cool games and I just can’t say enough about her attention to detail. She made the experience really great. Again, Highly recommend!
As you can see I can’t speak for the entire group, but my wife and I’s experience was awesome. I believe others are in the same boat. Great boat, great Crew, Great Cap!

Lynne, this trip was fabulous. Tyler was very engaged and welcoming as were James and Alex. The boat was in great shape every day. Our rooms were always clean. Alex went way over what was expected with her attention to detail and serving our every need. She sang for us. The food prepared by James was next level. Wildly exceeding our expectations. Each meal was carefully prepared and crazy good. He explained each meal in great detail. I have been in a lot of fine dining restaurants which do not compare to the meals we had. I could go on and on about the food and service. A++

The crew (Colin, Julianna and Degory) was flawless in the delivery of their service and the discretion they displayed in their participation with us and in making everyone comfortable. The fine dining was loved by the entire group and the planned excursions made the time off the boat fun and adventurous. Julianna is an excellent chef and prepared incredible meals.
