Dive Yacht Charters Indulge your senses in the beauty and magic of the underwater world! Many of our featured yachts offer some type of dive package, whether it be with an on-board Dive Master or Dive Instructor or via a local Rendezvous Dive Company. Several yachts also offer instruction while onboard the yacht. Some common courses are listed below. As a newcomer to diving, discover the underwater treasures as you learn how to dive. While on vacation, it is possible to receive a resort certification and be qualified to dive for the duration of your stay.

Discover Scuba : Commonly referred to as a “resort course”, this course is for guests, ages 10 and above, who have never been diving or are not currently certified divers. The two hour course will teach guests how to dive and will qualify them to make shallow dives under the direct supervision of a Dive Instructor.

Referral Course : This course is for guests, ages 12 and above, who would like to get certified to dive while aboard their yacht. Upon completion of classroom and pool portions of this course at home, the student will be issued a Referral Packet. Upon receipt of a completed referral packet (including medical form), a Dive Instructor will conduct 4 open water check-out dives and issue a dive certification.

Open Water Course : This course is suited for guests interested in completing a full scuba course aboard the yacht, including classroom, “pool work” and check out dives. Although this option is available aboard some yachts, the student should realize that this will entail a fair amount of time on the part of the student and the Dive Instructor during their vacation.

Many of our featured “Dive Yachts” come equipped with either a Dive Master or Dive Instructor. Dive Masters are qualified to lead certified divers only. Dive Instructors can lead, teach & certify. Please note that Dive Instructors are one level above Dive Masters when making comparisons between yachts.
