Caribbean Dive Yacht Vacations

Most of our crewed yacht charters offer some type of scuba diving package with an on-board Dive Instructor, Dive Master, or diving via a local and recommended rendezvous dive company. Several yachts also offer diving courses so that non-certified guests can learn to dive and sometimes get certified while on charter. Our popular BVI yacht charters offer the greatest assortment of dive yachts as well as the best dive destination in the Caribbean.

Dive Charter Specials

Visit our yacht specials page to discover which of our yachts are currently offering enticing specials on dive yacht charters.

Common Dive Courses

  • Discover Scuba: Commonly referred to as a "resort course", this course is for guests, ages 10 and above, who have never been diving or are not currently certified divers. The two hour course will teach guests how to dive and will qualify them to make shallow dives under the direct supervision of a Dive Instructor.

  • Referral Course: This course is for guests, ages 10 and above, who would like to get certified to dive while aboard their yacht. Upon completion of classroom and pool portions of this course at home, the student will be issued a Referral Packet. Upon receipt of a completed referral packet (including medical form), a Dive Instructor will conduct 4 open water check-out dives and issue a dive certification.

  • Open Water Course: This course is suited for guests interested in completing a full scuba course aboard the yacht, including classroom, "pool work" and check out dives. Although this option is available aboard some yachts, the student should realize that this will entail a fair amount of time on the part of the student and the Dive Instructor during their vacation. A Referral Course is typically recommended.

Rendezvous Diving

If your yacht of choice does not offer onboard Dive Master or Dive Instructor, we can help you set up a rendezvous diving package with a local and recommended dive company.

Dive Instructor vs. Dive Master

  • Dive Instructor: A level above Dive Master. Dive Instructors are qualified to lead, teach, and certify guests.

  • Dive Master: Qualified to lead certified guests only.
