The annual crewed charter yacht shows in the BVI and USVI provide us with the opportunity to inspect the yachts, get to know the crews, plus continue to refine our list of key yacht and crew recommendations for our charter clients.
During the shows, an anonymous panel of judges vote for various "Best in Show" winners and these coveted awards are then presented to crews during the final evening of each show. You'll find a list of some of the key "Best in Show" winners from the November 2022 shows below for the BVI as well as the USVI . In addition, we also maintain our own expanded list of yacht and crew favorites at every price point, from our affordable picks to our high-end suggestions. WHY DO WE ATTEND CREWED CHARTER YACHT SHOWS?
- Key Priority as Crewed Yacht Charter Professionals: As professional yacht charter brokers, one of our top priorities is having an in-depth knowledge about the yachts, crews and destinations that we're recommending for our clients. Attendance at various shows each year is also a requirement for our membership in some professional industry associations.
- Best Avenue to Get to Know the Yachts & Crews: These annual shows provide us with our best opportunity to inspect the yachts, meet new crews, plus catch up with our favorite, veteran crews. These shows also allow our Team to further refine our list of key yacht and crew recommendations based on these on-board yacht inspections, crew interviews, on-board lunches and dinners during the show, plus evening social events that allow brokers and crews to mingle in a more relaxed setting.
- Opportunity to Revisit our Key Destinations: The two critical Caribbean crewed charter yacht shows include the British Virgin Island Show (BVI show), as well as the US Virgin Islands Show, (USVI show) held annually each November. Our attendance at these shows allows our Team to stay intimately familiar with these key destinations as well as maintain a working knowledge of the actual experience of "getting there" year after year.
- Because It's All About the Crew: While we pay close attention to the yachts, we make it a priority to focus on the crews and get to know them on a more personal level. As our long list of repeat clients would agree, the yacht needs to be well suited to start with, but the success of a charter always relies on having the right crew aboard.
- Ideal Networking Opportunity: The shows serve as a unique opportunity to reconnect with our key managers and industry partners. It also provides us with an avenue to get to know any incoming managers or new charter companies in the fleet. Finally, the shows serve as an ideal venue to catch up with and compare notes with other Brokers in the industry while attending on-board lunches and dinners, or during key association meetings or noteworthy industry seminars.

Chef Audrey won two of three categories in the BVI Culinary Competition including "Best Appetizer" as well as "Best Lunch"! Captain Philip additionally won the "Cocktail Contest" so clients can look forward to the quality of the cocktails served aboard standing up to Audrey's cuisine.
