Chef Tyler was born in the West Indies and had a South African upbringing. He loved cooking so much he grew a beard as a teenager and slipped into the fine-dining kitchen of Eton House. Award-Winning culinary adventures and dynamic influences have punctuated his journey ever since. Tyler shall be returning shortly to his home base of Tortola to take up his position on Segundo Viento. Expect his knowledge of local ingredients and preparation methods to provide a certain authentic quality you won’t experience elsewhere. Extremely outgoing and easily approachable if you wish to hear of his adventures.

Chef Joseph grew up on a small family farm in the Pacific Northwest. Before moving to the Caribbean, Joseph received degrees the Culinary Arts and Patisserie and Baking from Western Culinary Institute in Portland. In 2009, he packed his bags for the islands to buy and reside on his boat in the Virgin Islands. Proud to partner with the Virgin Island community, Joseph takes pride in buying local and these relationships with farmers and fisherman have elevated his status as having the freshest ingredients on board at all times. In addition to 3 years on a 50' catamaran, Joseph spent 5 years aboard a 120' Motor Yacht perfecting the art of fine cuisine.
